The Group is a major actor in the French building material market, in the cement business through Ciments Calcia, in the ready mix concrete sector through Unibéton and in the aggregate production and supply with GSM.

Part of the Group Technical Centre (CTG) laboratories are located in Guerville. CTG is committed, jointly with the laboratories in Bergamo, in the research and development of new products and new industrial processes.

Italcementi Group also operates in Belgium through CCB, Compagnie des Ciments Belges, located at Gaurain-Ramecroix/Tournai. CCB is active in the cement, concrete and aggregates businesses. Its production is mainly aimed at the Benelux market.

The Group employs more than 4,000 people in France and Belgium.
