The Museum Cemento Rezola welcomes a new exhibition
Spain, 5 April to 25 June

The Museum Cemento Rezola opens its doors to the work of the Spanish engineer and researcher Eduardo Torroja, known throughout the world as one of the most important creators of structures in the first half of the XX century. The display at the Museum presents Torroja’s major works by way of panels, scale-models, pictures, video-tapes and computer simulation. The three main works, which gained him a world reputation, are the Market of Algeciras, the jai-allai playground in Madrid’s park and the race-track, near the Zarzuela Palace, current residence of the Spanish Royal family. These works turned out to be so expressive and poetic that they have marked future generations of architects and engineers ever since.

Such was the interest raised by the Torroja exhibition, that San Sebastian town authorities decided to show bits of it on screens in public transport.
