The italian minister of Economic Development, at the opening day of SAIE, the international exhibition of building industry, visited the Italcementi’s stand where he had the opportunity of admiring the model of ITCLab, the new Italcementi’s Innovation and Technology Central Laboratory, designed by the american architect Richard Meier, under construction near Bergamo.

The building industry is a major business for the italian economy – said the minister – and the government pays relevant attention to initiatives such as innovation and research which will support its growth.

ITCLab will be a reference for eco-sustainable architecture in Europe and an innovative benchmark for architects and the design world.
