Italcementi Group: after 10 years a new make up for the Corporate Identity

Our brand was launched 10 years ago in 1997. It was a milestone in our history as it marked the completion of a sweeping transformation of the group’s structure and organisation. Our aim was to show both our people and the world that we could become one team worldwide: a global Group with world class skills and local understanding.

During the last 10 years our brand has served us well and has been instrumental in communicating in a coherent and co-ordinated manner our global vision as
‘A world class local business’, a powerful statement that has become synonymous with Italcementi Group. It clearly expresses our passionate belief that the combination of world class expertise and local resources and knowledge will be the key to generate long-term sustainable value for all our stakeholders.
This fundamental trust lies at the heart of our Group and forms the basis for the structure of our visual identity. An identity that, unlike our main competitors, allows each of our local businesses to maintain their own name and signature, whilst sharing the privileges and opportunities of belonging to a worldwide Group.
