Devnya Cement, Italcementi Group subsidiary in Bulgaria, is one of the main sponsors of I Tesori della Bulgaria. Dal Neolitico al Medioevo that takes place at the Quirinale Presidential Palace in Rome, from 15 February to 15 March.
The exhibition has been inaugurated last 14 February in the presence of the President Carlo Azgelio Ciampi and his Bulgarian counterpart, Georgi Parvanov.
The exhibition gathers some of the most extraordinary treasures that have been discovered in 2004 and 2005 during archaeological digs in the Thracian Valley of the Kings. For the first time, Italian public will have the possibility to appreciate a retrospective of Bulgaria millenary history through 55 pieces of art, generously lend by nine Bulgarian institutions (eight museums and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences).
