Essroc makes Safety a priority

Safety in the workplace is a top priority for Italcementi Group and the American subsidiary Essroc is proud to announce that workers at Logansport facility were recently awarded for their efforts on that issue. 

As of Friday 06 October, the panel on which days without lost-time accident are tallied was indicating an impressive 1,714 days. Plant Manager attributes this success to training and attention to safety and injury prevention. 

Safety standards are reported to the Portland Cement Association. In accordance with the Association tradition, a monument on which the years without lost-time accident are engraved stands beside the office building and lists the plant record: 4,332 days.
