Safety in the workplace: multilingual vignettes for Italcementi bags

Italcementi cement bags now bear information vignettes explaining correct workplace procedures, accompanied by the caption “Safety First” printed in Italian, Romanian, Albanian and Arabic. The new bag is used for the cement produced at the Italcementi cement plant in Pontassieve (Florence).
The initiative is based on an idea developed by Italcementi and the Tuscan branch of Italy’s national association of building constructors (ANCE), with the support of the Tuscany Regional Authority.
The Italcementi plant in Pontassieve has 60 employees and turns out more than 1.5 million bags of cement a year, mainly for distribution in Tuscany and Umbria.
Simple and intuitive, the colored vignettes illustrate correct procedures in green and inappropriate action in red.
