Ciments Français and SibCem set new closing date for the sale of turkish assets

In relation to the Sale and Purchase Agreement signed at the end of the first quarter 2008 by Ciment Français and OJSC Holding Company Sibirskiy Cement regarding the sale by Ciments Français of its SET Group operations in Turkey, the parties have agreed a delay in the closing date for the transaction, now set for October 20, 2008.

The shares being sold to SibCem represent 100% of the share capital of SET Group Holding A.Ş. and SET Beton Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and 76.51% of the share capital of Afyon Çimento Sanayi T.A.Ş.
