The Group has launched its
Sustainability Policy
.

It covers all the themes affecting the Group sphere of influence: human rights, codes of governance, health and safety, labour practices, social initiatives, relations with customers and suppliers, energy efficiency, environment, quality of products and processes, research and innovation.

In addition dedicated Group Policies deriving from the Sustainability Policy cover in details all the relevant aspects, and particularly: Safety Policy, Human Rights Policy, Quality Policy, Energy Policy, Environment Policy, Heath Policy and Social Initiatives Policy.

Italcementi has been reconfirmed in “The Sustainability Yearbook 2012” the most comprehensive publication on corporate sustainability released yearly by SAM (Sustainable Asset Management).This year Italcementi is listed in the 2012 Yearbook with the SAM Bronze Class rating.
