Stakeholder engagement | Support to communities

The Group aims at building relationships with its stakeholders based on mutual commitment, active partnership, trust, openness and long-term cooperation.

71% of the Group cement plants currently has stakeholder engagement activities in place.

Key topics raised by relevant Group stakeholders are climate change, air emissions, health and safety. Local stakeholders are mainly addressing site-specific issues such as dust, noise and use of alternative materials.

All the Group subsidiaries apply the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) guidelines issued at CSI level, in case of new installations or major revamping projects.
